What is Lily & Leo?
“Lily & Leo” is an interactive reading adventure for elementary school children aged 6-10. The app represents a fusion of book and game for both tablets and smartphones (iOS, Android, Amazon Fire).
Within the framework of an exciting story, children have to make decisions and help Lily and Leo solving puzzles. In this way, “Lily & Leo” offers a unique and little-used learning game concept that places value on offering children an exciting world in which they can immerse themselves and, quite incidentally, gain valuable experience, learn values and acquire important key skills.
Lily and Leo discover their environment with their enormous imagination, which is typical for children (e.g., a loud rattling noise is definitely coming from a creepy ghost!). At the end of each book, the mystery is solved and an object or physical phenomenon is explained.
Should children play the app together with their parents?
Basically, it is not mandatory that children always play “Lily & Leo” together with their parents. You can play together, read together, puzzle together and work together to help Lily and Leo, depending on how old the child is. It certainly doesn’t hurt if parents are also present, especially in the beginning, as younger children can easily get lost in games.
However, we have designed everything in such a way that children can play on their own without any problems. For example, the app has a read-aloud function for younger children, in case the parents can’t or don’t want to read aloud themselves.
Target group age of children (in school? before school?)
“Lily & Leo” is an interactive reading adventure for elementary school children aged 6-10. The focus here is on second and third graders. But that doesn’t mean that younger or older children can’t have fun with Lily and Leo. We explicitly paid attention to this when developing the app.
Are there any hidden costs in the app?
No, it was important to us not to have any hidden costs in the app!
Are “The Adventures of Lily & Leo” ad-free?
Absolutely! Just as it is important to us that there are no hidden costs in the app, it is equally important that there are no ads in “Lily & Leo”. Parents can rely on that.
Does the game save progress automatically?
Yes, the game automatically saves progress during the story, so that no progress is lost, even if the game session should come to an abrupt end.
What about replayability?
In the course of the game, you can choose different paths with Lily and Leo at some points and thus make different decisions when playing again to discover the complete story bit by bit. In addition, the app is completely playable in German and English, so it can also help you learn a new language.
Are there links that lead out of the app?
Yes, but these can only be found in the parents’ area and they also only redirect to our own web and social media sites.
So your kids can’t get to them easily and can’t leave the app unintentionally.
Which operating systems and platforms are supported?
At the moment, “The Adventures of Lily & Leo” is available in the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore. So the app can be used both relaxed on the tablet, as well as on the go on the smartphone.
On how many devices can I use the app?
Once purchased, the “Adventures of Lily & Leo” can be played on an unlimited number of devices of the same type (i.e., iOS, Android, or Amazon Fire). Unfortunately, transferring the purchase from, for example, Android to iOS is not possible at the moment.
What happens to my child’s data?
Nothing, because the data never leaves the device on which “Lily & Leo” is played. Age level and name are only used in the course of the game to adjust the difficulty or to address your kids personally. Beyond that, nothing happens, because your privacy and that of your children is very important to us!
What do I do if I can’t solve a mini-game? I get stuck at one point.
We have had all mini-games tested frequently by a wide variety of players, but of course you can’t always completely rule out the possibility that something might go wrong.
That’s why we have built a help function into almost all games (the big yellow button with the question mark). If you press it, you will get more and more hints that help you to solve the respective game.
If that doesn’t help either, please don’t hesitate to send us a mail with a short description of the game and the problem. We will get back to you as soon as possible and try to find a solution.

We actually already have some ideas for further parts of “Lily & Leo”, both in terms of story and puzzles, and are already hard at work on more ideas behind the scenes.
If the first part of the series is well received, then nothing stands in the way of further adventures with Lily and Leo.

Cubimals: Number Bash! is a brain game revolving around simple mathematical skills within the area of arithmetic. There’s addition, subtraction, multiplication, number series and so forth. The game and all of its modes are suitable for all age groups and stimulate core cognitive skills. You can play it for yourself or challenge others to set best times on the leaderboards.

Cubimals: Number Bash! focuses on the area of arithmetic. Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number series, even and odd numbers are addressed throughout the levels.
